CGCN Group is pleased to welcome Jake Kennedy as a Partner. Kennedy is a Washington, D.C.-based environmental policy expert who advises clients on federal legislation, regulation, and congressional strategy, with a focus on chemical policy, PFAS, Superfund, extended producer responsibility, plastics and recycling, and advanced manufacturing.

Before joining CGCN in 2026, Kennedy spent nearly nine years in the U.S. Senate, including service as a Senior Professional Staff Member on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee under Chairmen Shelley Moore Capito and John Barrasso. He also served in the office of Senator Jeff Flake.

At CGCN, Kennedy helps businesses navigate complex federal and state policy challenges across chemical regulation, environmental liability, packaging and recycling requirements, and advanced manufacturing.
