Ben Kenney has spent more than 15 years delivering results in high-stakes strategic communications and public affairs across federal, state, and corporate sectors. He has served in presidentially appointed roles under President Donald J. Trump, advised two gubernatorial administrations, worked on policy in Congress, and spearheaded corporate public affairs initiatives in the private sector.

Prior to joining CGCN, Ben was the Senior Director of Government & Public Affairs at Coherus BioSciences, where he developed and executed communications strategies that successfully brought multiple pharmaceutical products to market. He also led a national PR campaign to secure America’s medical supply chain, strengthening its resilience against future crises.

As a Presidential appointee, Ben directed strategic communications at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and the General Services Administration. He played a critical role in Operation Warp Speed, managing external affairs, stakeholder engagement, and legislative outreach on Capitol Hill.

Ben has also served in two gubernatorial administrations in his home state, advising top elected officials on public affairs and policy messaging. His Capitol Hill experience includes roles in both the U.S. Senate and House, where he developed a deep understanding of legislative affairs and strategic communication.

A Purdue University alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Entrepreneurship, Ben was also a record-breaking varsity swimmer. That competitive drive now fuels his strategic vision in public relations and advocacy, operating from his base just outside Washington, D.C.
