Kaity Barr

Kaity Barr, Associate at CGCN, has experience in congressional communications, legislative outreach, and public policy. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Legislative Correspondent and Communications Assistant for Congressman Russ Fulcher (ID-01), who served on the House Energy and Commerce and House Natural Resources Committees. In this role, she drafted and managed formal correspondence, assisted with press materials and digital communications, and helped translate complex policy issues for a broad range of audiences. Her work covered policy areas including energy, natural resources, critical minerals, and federal lands.

Kaity also managed legislative portfolios including foreign affairs, intelligence, national security, FISA, and international trade. She began her career on Capitol Hill as a congressional intern and graduated cum laude from Whitworth University in 2024 with B.A. degrees in International Studies and Spanish. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in National Security and Intelligence from the Bush School of Government and Public Service in Washington, D.C.
