Liza Luter is Senior Associate at CGCN, bringing a strong background in political communications, legislative strategy, and client relations. Prior to joining CGCN, Liza served as Press Secretary for Congressman David Kustoff, where she managed all digital and social media platforms, developed strategic messaging, and created content to maximize media coverage of key policy initiatives. In this role, she also contributed to press releases, speeches, op-eds, and interview preparation, ensuring effective communication of legislative priorities.
Liza previously gained experience in government relations as an intern at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where she researched and analyzed legislation on environmental sustainability, cannabis policy, and federal water negotiations. She also interned in the offices of Senator Bill Hagerty and Congressman Kustoff, handling constituent services, policy research, and communications support.
Liza is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs, cum laude.
