Scott Riplinger
Senior PartnerScott Riplinger is widely regarded as one of the best Republican lobbyists in Washington, DC, recognized by The Hill as a top lobbyist. A Partner at CGCN Group since 2020, he helps Fortune 50 companies, startups, and trade associations develop and execute winning advocacy and strategic communications strategies across financial services, tax, artificial intelligence, technology, judiciary, commerce, trade, and transportation.
Closely connected to the new Republican Party coalition, Scott works at the intersection of pro-growth conservatism and innovation—partnering with policy entrepreneurs, leadership teams, and business coalitions to translate priorities into results. His work reflects the GOP’s modernization and realignment on issues like AI, capital formation, supply chains, and American competitiveness, aligning private-sector realities with the party’s forward-looking agenda.
Before the private sector, Scott spent 15 years on Capitol Hill shaping policy from idea to law. He served as Legislative Director for Chairman Mike Crapo (R-ID) and Senator Dean Heller (R-NV), acted as a liaison to the Senate Chief Deputy Whip, and was Majority Staff Director for the Securities, Insurance, and Investment Subcommittee—working closely with the U.S. Treasury Department and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He began his career with House Small Business Committee Chairman Don Manzullo (R-IL).
Known for building effective leadership coalitions and custom messaging, Scott advances client priorities on headline issues and behind-the-scenes policies alike.
