Earlier in her career, Lyakhov interned for Hon. Caryn R. Fink of the Nassau County Criminal Court, where she conducted legal research and observed judicial proceedings, gaining firsthand exposure to the legal system and courtroom operations. She also worked as a research intern at Vanderbilt University, contributing to research examining Latin American migration trends and return migration patterns.
A graduate of New York University, Lyakhov earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at NYU, she served a Co-Communications Director of the Liberal Studies Law Cooperative Club, helping promote legal education programming and professional engagement opportunities for students.
