Job Description

The position would support partners on the strategic communications team. The position is paid, full-time, salaried employment with competitive benefits. Salary & title commensurate with experience. Hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Objectives of this Role

• Design visual concepts using appropriate tools, media, and/or technologies
• Incorporate relevant branding, marketing, and communication strategies in designs
• Complete design projects on time and within the designated budget

Design Responsibilities

• Logo creation for start-up organizations
• Formatting memorandums and proposals for partners
• Creating pitch decks for client presentations and new business meetings
• Designing social media content for client use
• Designing creative ads to be run in campaigns or in newspapers
• Designing materials for client events

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in design or art-related field
• Two or more years of experience in a design role
• Certification and/or training in relevant software programs:
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Word
